Inspired by the song "Broken Wings by Alter Bridge" [very good band, for all of thoese who are interested] I drew this up. Planned as an origional sketchbook drawing, I quickly changed my mind inorder to fill a deadline and thus turned this into a project for my portfolio. Media: Pen and ink mostly Red prismacolor markers And a 2b pencil for the background grit.
Well, I worked on it for class periods every day at school. Which was around 90 minutes total work time each day. But the killer was them stinkin wings, I went and drew in every stink feather and when It came time to ink i drew in their featherlike detail. Too bad i don't have a scanner big enough to scan this in and do it some much better justice. But what can ya do..
It should, I took a whole years worth of Drawing and Desgin classes as well as ceramics along with grahpic design and whatnot. To top off my senior year i was in the highest artclass in the school program, and i was takin painting and also hung around the artrooms as much as I could before getting shooed away by an disaplinary figure..
I also suggest, some drawing books, they can help open your eye on how things are drawn and whatnot. But nothing beats the hands on learnin of classes. I've got a whole day of Art classes thanks to my college class schedual. it should prove to bring mondays into better days.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
